FIRE.217 Taxes are NOT Spending

In talking with friends—yes about taxes and death—one may have mentioned their largest “spend” last year was for taxes.

I wanted to say “congratulations.”  Ironic response I know, but fully in line with the thought of “income taxes are from taxable income, congratulations on having so much income.”  Our household is not that lucky—yet.

FIRE.216 Too Busy Part 2

Today in my “commute” I was thinking through the Ben Franklin quote I just read about “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.” 

I started thinking about being “busy” or “too busy” again and the slant of being non-productive, or not fully productiveLazy vs Lazer focused on what I want?   I guess that calls for a “part 2” post.
